Spencer Rogers
President
Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) and Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) with 30+ years of expertise in negotiating IP contracts.
Spencer Rogers is the President of Vibrant IP. He is an experienced patent broker and business development professional with extensive negotiation, valuation, and intellectual property management expertise.
Spencer has evaluated over 600 intellectual property portfolios and successfully negotiated over 150 patent licenses and acquisitions in a broad range of fields, including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, artificial intelligence, chemistry, physics, software, and engineering. He knows first-hand what it takes to monetize intellectual property and is an expert at identifying and executing intellectual property transactions.
Spencer has served as Director of Innovation and Technology Commercialization at Louisiana State University (LSU) and Associate Director of Technology Transfer at Brigham Young University. While at LSU and BYU, Mr. Rogers worked closely with inventors to evaluate and license hundreds of intellectual property assets and was responsible for identifying and valuing commercial opportunities, negotiating license and sale agreements, and managing patent portfolios.
