The patented HiFi™ Interface and Imaging System transforms prosthetic sockets with superior comfort and performance.

  1. General Details

The High-Fidelity Bionic Rapidly Adjustable Socket (RAS) System and Exolimb Devices are innovative solutions designed to improve the comfort and functionality of prosthetic limbs and exoskeleton equipment. Unlike conventional prosthetic sockets, which often provide a fixed fit that can be uncomfortable and may not adapt well to changes in the user’s residual limb, the RAS system features a unique compression stabilization mechanism that reduces the relative motion between the worn device and the skeletal structure of a limb or body part, thereby ensuring a secure fit while minimizing discomfort. This applies to exoskeleton equipment as well, which means that users can modify the fit of their prosthetic socket and exolimbs to better accommodate different activities, such as walking, running, or even sitting, making their movements smoother and more stable and natural.

By providing a personalized fit, the RAS system enhances mobility and helps reduce the risk of falls, allowing amputees to engage in a wider range of activities with confidence. In a Blatchford PEQ Study, Px Satisfaction increased an average of 109.4% with HiFi, with all other categories also improving.

The invention includes various components such as adjustable straps, a compression interface, and a user-friendly adjustment mechanism, all designed to work together seamlessly, and industries that would benefit from this technology include military, robotics, orthotics, prosthetics, rehabilitation, exoskeletons, sports and fitness, and healthcare.
