Conventional sterile packaging protects the medical device only during storage.

The barrier maintaining sterility is discarded at the very point the medical device is about to be used, leaving the device at high risk of contamination, and contamination prevention heavily dependent on constant user vigilance, adherence to complex protocols, environmental conditions, infrastructure, equipment, resources, planning, preparation time, and user expertise.

Achieving ANTT infection control in many real-world care settings is therefore difficult or impossible.

If sterile packaging is the best asset of a device’s sterility, why do we remove it?

Our procedural barrier system remains around the device during use, extending device protection beyond storage and into the medical procedure.

An impervious protective barrier acts as a functional procedural interface that:

• exposes key parts of the device only to the extent required at the critical moment,
